Uczłowieczenia/zezwierzęcenia. Wokół dwóch słuchowisk Iredyńskiego
AbstractThis article analyzes two radio plays written by Ireneusz Iredyński (Koniec stworzenia [The End of Creation] and Ibis) from the perspective of Giorgio Agamben’s philosophy. The author reads the inter-human relations depicted by the dramatist as a type of socio-cultural game of constructing the norm and lack thereof. This game is subject to the mechanisms of functioning of Agemben’s "anthropological machine" and consists in excluding, by way of creating a dichotomy between "one’s own" and "the other", where the other is expelled from humanity and reduced to the status of an animal.
