Krucjata modlitwy. Perswazja przeciwko aborcji na łamach "Rycerza Niepokalanej" w latach osiemdziesiątych

Adam Konopka

Abstract

The article shows how the authors of “Rycerz Niepokalanej”, a Franciscan monthly newspaper, tried to convince the readers to turn against the 1956 act on the conditions of pregnancy termination permissibility and against abortion in general, through the texts published in a section committed to a secular catholic initiative Krucjata Modlitwy w Obronie Poczętych Dzieci (Prayer Crusade in Defense of Conceived Children). The author presents the persuasive genres used in the periodical as well as the linguistic means involved in the construction of this persuasive message.
