Punkt wyjścia: "Trochę bandyta, trochę wariat"
AbstractIreneusz Iredyński (1939–1985) quickly won the acclaim of critics as a poet, prose writer and dramatist, but both his writing style and lifestyle irritated the political authorities and the literary Parnassus. Already during his lifetime, the writer was shrouded by a scandalous legend (“Part thug, part nutcase”, as Stefan Kisielewski put it). A wave of biographic memoirs about this writer has been rising over the past few years, but how should Iredyński’s works be read anew today?
