Support psychomotor development through stimulation through SI therapy in a 15-year-old girl with Asperger syndrome - case analysis

Abstract

Asperger Syndrome in the context of the classifications: DSM-IV, DSM-5, ICD-10, ICD-11. The description of qualities typical for functioning of individuals with this set of disorders including physical fitness, intellectual growth, ability of speaking and language skills, self-expression and social relations. The description of multifaceted therapeutic activities in the field of gross and fine motor, sensory therapy made for this type of person to improve its functioning and selfesteem on the base of the case study of a fifteen-year-old girl. Results and efficiency of the therapy in opinion of the therapists and the own opinion of the treated individual.
