Роль глагола в простых предложениях русского языка: непредикативные функции

Zoja Nowożenowa

Abstract

The verb's structure and semantics depends on its role in forming an utterance by means of its propositional content and actualization of this conten and by means of expression by the verb by-propositional and poly-propositionalmeanings within the sentence. In conformity with these aspects of the sentence, the verb can fulfill the following functions: predicative and propositional, prognostic, actualizing and copulative. While building an utterance the type of the predicate (single or analytic) is determined by nominative, communicativefunctional and pragmatic aspects. They also influence the functions the verb fulfills and its structural and semantic role in the sentence – explicator, compensator, modificator, compicator or copulator – while forming an analytic predicate.
