Changes in the legal regulations concerning renewable energy sources as a source of investment risk based on the example of wind energy sector in Poland

Abstract

The paper contains the analysis of statistical data and changes in the legal regulations concerning RES and shows that there is currently a problem of decreasing investments in wind energy, and the instruments promoting it so far are losing their importance for various reasons. The effects of the presented regulatory changes in Poland are already noticeable. Rapidly changing legal regulations are undoubtedly a factor that poses a threat to the functioning of business entities.
